Is a Ringo Starr Concert Worth It? Our Honest Verdict
Is it worth seeing Ringo Starr live in 2026?
We think so, for one simple reason: there are not many chances left to hear a Beatle sing "Yellow Submarine" and "With a Little Help From My Friends" in person. The fall 2026 run is only ten shows, from September 24 to October 7, and nothing is announced after that. Add three bands' worth of hits from the All Starrs and it is a lot of music for one ticket. Here is the balanced view.
What works
- A Beatle live, singing the Beatles songs he sang on the records
- Hits from Toto, Men at Work and Average White Band in the same show
- A settled, experienced band, unchanged since 2024
- Two drummers and a big sing-along finale
- Cheap entry points exist, like lawn seats at Bethel Woods
Worth knowing
- The show is about 1 hour 45 minutes, shorter than some fans expect
- Premium and VIP seats are expensive
- The VIP package has no meet-and-greet
- Little or nothing from the new album on the setlist
- Only ten shows, all in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic
Official tickets are sold by Ticketmaster for most dates, by AXS for Forest Hills Stadium, and by the venue box offices in Easton and Lancaster. TicketNetwork, where our buttons go, is a resale marketplace, so prices there can be above face value.
How much do tickets cost, and which tier is best value?
Prices vary a lot by venue. These are the official face-value ranges we could confirm, plus a September 2026 resale snapshot:
| Option | Price seen | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Lawn, Bethel Woods (Sept 25) | From $49.50 incl. fees | Budget, relaxed outdoor night |
| Reserved seats, Lancaster (Oct 6) | $179 / $259 / $299 / $369 | A good seat in a theatre |
| Easton State Theatre (Sept 24) | $190 to $658.25 all-in | Opening night in a historic theatre |
| VIP Ticket Package | About $515 to $658 | Premium seat plus merch bundle |
| Resale, cheapest listings | From about $29 to $35 | Flexible fans hunting a deal |
For pure value, the Bethel Woods lawn is hard to beat: it is the widest price spread on the tour and the cheapest official seats we found. For the best experience per dollar, a mid-priced reserved seat in one of the theatres (Easton, Lancaster, Albany, Wallingford) puts you close without paying VIP money. Resale prices move daily, so treat the snapshot as a guide only. See our ticket prices page for more, and our resale guide before you buy.
Is the VIP package worth it?
Only if you want the best seat and the merch. The One More Time VIP package includes a premium reserved ticket, tour shirt, lithograph, tote, an exclusive merch item, laminate and lanyard, and a commemorative ticket. There is no meet-and-greet. If meeting Ringo is the goal, this won't do it. If you would buy the shirt and poster anyway and want a guaranteed great seat, it can make sense. Full details on our VIP packages page.
Is Ringo a good drummer?
Yes, and seeing him live is a good way to understand why. His playing is built around serving the song: steady time, a relaxed feel and fills that fit the melody so well they became part of how the records are remembered. That is why so many Beatles drum parts are recognizable within a bar or two. On stage in 2026 he splits the night between singing out front and drumming on his own kit, with Gregg Bissonette alongside him, so you get to see both sides of him. Our second drummer page explains how that works.
Who will enjoy the show most?
Beatles fans, classic rock fans and anyone who loves a sing-along. If you also like Toto or Men at Work, it is close to a perfect night. If you were hoping to hear the new album, check our setlist page first, because the June 2026 show had none of it.
Not sure whether to go now or wait? Nothing is announced after October 7, 2026, including any 2027 dates. We track that on our 2027 tour page, but we would not count on a later chance.
Our verdict
Go if you can. It is a warm, hit-packed night with a Beatle at the center, and this fall's run is short, with nothing confirmed after Albany on October 7. Pick a tier that matches your budget, compare the official seller with resale, and read what to expect before the night. All ten dates are on our tour dates page.
