Why is this a first for Portland?

Cross Insurance Arena says this will be the first time Ringo Starr has ever played a live show in Portland. After more than three decades of All Starr Band tours, that is a rare thing to be able to say. It is also the only Maine date, the northernmost stop of the tour and the only Saturday night of the fall run, so expect fans from across Maine, New Hampshire and beyond.

How much are Ringo Starr tickets in Portland?

Face values for Portland are not published anywhere we could verify. As a guide, resale listings across the whole fall run started from about $29–$35 in September 2026. Arenas tend to have a wider spread than theatres, from upper-level seats at the back to floor seats near the stage.

For a first visit, the classic set is exactly what you want. The spring 2026 run featured “Matchbox”, “It Don’t Come Easy”, “Yellow Submarine”, “Photograph”, “Choose Love” and “With a Little Help From My Friends”, plus band hits like “Rosanna”, “Down Under”, “Hold the Line” and “Pick Up the Pieces”. Where are the best seats in an arena?

In an arena, lower-bowl seats on the sides near the stage are usually the best value: close, raised above the floor so you see over heads, and with a clear angle on both drum kits. Floor seats get you nearest, but a flat floor means your view depends on who is in front of you. The upper level is cheapest; seats facing the stage head-on are better than those at extreme angles. How do I get to Cross Insurance Arena?

The arena is in downtown Portland, within walking distance of the Old Port, so it is easy to combine dinner and the show on foot. There are public garages and lots nearby, but they fill up on event nights, so arrive early or walk from further out. Doors are listed at 6:30 PM. Check the arena’s website for parking and bag rules.

Is there a VIP package in Portland?

Portland is the northernmost stop. Boston is three days earlier, Wallingford, CT is the next night, and Albany closes the tour on Oct 7.
